Internet Marketing Journey

So it has been quite a journey since my first attempt at doing a blog.  I typically use Wordpress these days but when I did an Internet search I found my first blog right here.  Oh those were the days, 17 hours of webinars and surfing the web.  Hours and hours of listening to every pirate promoter on the web.  Like any industry it took some time to figure out who the good guys were verses the bad guys.

The Internet is a powerful medium for building relationships online and for generating business for your company.  The key is that you have to be willing to run your Internet business like a business.  This means that you must have working capital and that you must make investments into the marketing.  It is good to practice building up blogs and learning all the technical aspects but truly smart if you just pay someone that is an expert to execute in your behalf.

Take a look at your traditional media marketing budget and start to shift that into online marketing.  Marketing on the Internet can take the form of PPC, SEO and social media marketing.  Realize that things don't happen overnight and that market research is critical to your success!

The world is changing very fast and these are interesting times that we live in.  Don't sit on the sidelines and watch everything pass you bye!  Take that step and learn what you can but be smart and outsource when possible.  The best thing you can invest in is solid content and become an authority online!
